Daingean Canoe Club is set to bring a warm glow to the area next weekend in a ‘Christmas Light Paddle’ while raising funds, just weeks after the club faced a break-in.
The small group were left “disgusted and deeply saddened” after discovering that their clubhouse had been broken in to, and thieves made off with their solar panel batteries and an inverter.
