A son of a Cork man who was killed while saving a woman from being struck by a car said he was “always interested in helping people.”

Fermoy man Cal O’Keeffe was honoured yesterday with a National Bravery Gold Award at Leinster House for the heroic act which saved the life of a woman in her 70s from being hit by a car in a supermarket car park in Fermoy.
