Gardaí and the emergency services attended the scene of a fatal house fire in Edenderry, Co Offaly last night.
It is believed that there are fatalities at the scene.
Gardaí say they were alerted to the fire at around 7.45pm this evening and the fire has been extinguished by the local fire service.
It is understood the house was occupied at the time.
Gardaí say no further information is available at this time.
