It was a few days before Aneka Murphy’s birthday party earlier this year when Lewis Moody phoned her husband, Geordan. “Mate, I need to tell you what’s going on with me.”
They had been teammates for 13 years at Leicester, their families forming the tightest of bonds transcending occasional international rivalry. Throughout each house are photographs of shared holidays and occasions such as this latest impending day of celebration.
