An appeal for information has been issued by gardaí on the 25th anniversary of the disappearance of Trevor Deely in Dublin.
The 22-year-old, originally from Naas in Co Kildare, was living on Serpentine Avenue in Ballsbridge in Dublin.
He was last seen on 8 December 2000 after he attended his work Christmas party at the Hilton Hotel.
Afterwards Mr Deely proceeded to Buck Whaley’s nightclub on Leeson Street, which he left between 2.30am and 3.25am on 8 December.
The weather on the night in question was extremely wet and there was a taxi strike in progress.
At 3.35am, Mr Deely called to his place of work at Bank of Ireland, Asset Management Offices, Fitzwilliam Place, in Dublin 2.
CCTV footage of the rear entrance of bank shows an unknown man speaking to Mr Deely at the back gate of the building.

Gardaí are still looking to identify this man who may have information that could assist the investigation.

He was 6’1″ (1.85m) in height, with a slim build, short red/brown hair, fair complexion.
He was last seen wearing a mustard and brown checked shirt, beige/grey corduroy trousers, dark deck shoes with white stripes, a green padded jacket, carrying a large dark blue umbrella with white ACC Bank lettering.
Gardaí at Pearse Street Garda Station are appealing for information that will assist their investigation into the disappearance.
Even the smallest piece of information, which may seem insignificant, may assist the investigation, they said.
