Esha Deol shared a heartfelt note on her father, Dharmendra’s 90th birth anniversary. Dharmendra passed away on November 24, just a few days before his birthday.
On what would have been the 90th birth anniversary of the veteran actor Dharmendra, his daughter Esha Deol took to Instagram and shared an emotional homage that has moved fans across the country.
In her post, she shared cherished pictures of them together and poured her heart out in words filled with love, longing, and gratitude. Esha began her tribute with a tender message, “To my darling Papa. Our pact, the strongest bond. ‘Us’ through all our lifetimes, all realms and beyond… We are always together, Papa. Be it heaven or earth.” She added that for now, she has “very tenderly, carefully and preciously tucked you in my heart… deep, deep inside”, carrying him with her “for the rest of this lifetime.”

Her note recalled magical memories, describing the warmth of his hugs, the comfort of his hands, and the endless conversations filled with laughter and shayaris that defined their bond. She acknowledged the life-lessons, guidance, love and strength he gave her — qualities she now vows to uphold. “I so painfully miss you, Papa… your warm protective hugs that felt like the cosiest blanket… I promise to continue your legacy with pride and respect,” she wrote. She ended the note with the words, “And I will try my best to spread your love to the millions who love you as I do. I love you papa.”
