DREAM MORE showed more than plenty of the stable’s two-year-olds on debut when an encouraging third at Beverley last month and he again offered something to work with when filling the same position back at the same track 12 days ago. Dream More has been shaping like a step up in trip will suit, so he should appreciate the extra furlong on offer here, and this looks like a good opportunity to get off the mark.

CHALE CHALO shaped with encouragement when beaten only a length and a quarter in fifth on debut at Newbury in April and he again showed promise when beaten only a couple of lengths in sixth in a strong conditions race at Ascot a few weeks later.

That Ascot form is the best on offer here and he looks the one to beat on his return from a break. Bearin Up finished with a flourish when third at Beverley 12 days ago and will be suited by stepping back up to six furlongs here, so she can provide the main danger.

FINAL SECRET made no impression in a couple of starts in Ireland, but she proved much more competitive on her first outing for James Tate at Nottingham last month when beaten by only a nose.

That form marks her out as the one to beat and she could still have a bit more to offer for her new yard. Spanish Rising showed something to work with, despite being held back by inexperience, when fifth on debut at Haydock this month, and he could provide the main threat.

AL SHAHAM was a comfortable winner over this course and distance on debut and he produced an even better performance to follow up back here nine days ago. Al Shaham was up against some promising rivals, but he ran out a decisive winner, making all to score by two and a quarter lengths. He sets the standard and remains open to further improvement after only a couple of starts.

CAPITAL GUARANTEE bounced back to his best to win over this course and distance nine days ago, and that performance can be marked up a touch as he had to wait for a gap when going well over two furlongs out. That was the third win of the year for Capital Guarantee and the style of the success suggests he’s capable of adding to his tally off just a 2 lb higher mark. He gets the vote over the in-form Silent Age, who has won two of his last four starts and was third on the other couple of occasions.

BETWEENTHESTICKS narrowly beat Another Baar at Pontefract on his penultimate start but had to settle for second behind that rival at Catterick last week. However, that was another fine effort from Betweenthesticks, who led entering the final furlong and was beaten only half a length, and he might be able to turn the tables on his old rival, who is saddled with a penalty.

Billy Loughnane seemingly gets a good tune from COLOANE, as the two times they have teamed up have resulted in a decisive victory and a close-up second. Coloane hasn’t been seen since finishing fifth in a handicap at Beverley in April, but she looks interesting at this level based on the form she showed last season. Sassy Glory has finished runner-up on her last three starts and might fill the forecast slot again.

SPARTAN TIMES was unable to complete the hat-trick at Ayr last month, but he still gave a good account in second, especially considering he didn’t get an easy time of things in the lead. He looks likely to launch another bold bid after edging up only 1 lb in the weights and he gets the nod over last year’s winner Star Start.
