US plans to ask all tourists – including from Ireland – to share five years of social media history

Under the plans, travellers would also be asked for email addresses used in the last ten years

All tourists, whether they require a visa or not, may have to undergo social media screenings to enter the US.

Under a proposal filed this week by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), travellers would have to submit five years of their social media history for review.
