Rising river levels following heavy rain have led to flood warnings and the closure of a car park in Shropshire.
Shropshire Council said Frankwell car park in Shrewsbury would be shut overnight and confirmed water company Severn Trent was deploying a pump at the Coleham gyratory.
The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for the River Severn at the Showground and The Quarry in Shrewsbury.
Flooding is expected overnight from 21:00 GMT, which may affect offices at the showground and on Gravel Hill Lane, the agency’s warning said. Storm Bram brought wind and rain to many areas of the UK on Tuesday but has since cleared.
A flood warning means flooding is expected, and residents and property owners should take immediate action.
The warnings are also in place on the River Vyrnwy at Maesbrook, south of Oswestry and Melverley, near the Welsh border.
In addition, drain plugs were installed earlier on Wednesday along the Wharfage in Ironbridge.
