Just when you thought you’d finally seen the back of Simon Cowell, the originator of gladiator-style talent shows that the Guardian once called ‘Karaoke Sauron’, up he pops again.
Netflix is now the home of Cowell’s latest show The Next Act, in which the mogul attempts to assemble the world’s next big boyband; his attempt, he says, to return to where he started.
