A Mayo TD has hit out at plans to introduce a new 50 euro fee for pill blister packs.
Elderly and vulnerable patients suffering from illnesses such as dementia are facing new monthly fees of yp to 50 euro for drugs in blister packs.
Health Minister Jennifer Carroll-MacNeill has told the Dail that the Government will not intervene in the introduction of new fees for blister packs at pharmacies, set to come in on January 1st.
Sinn Fein’s Rose Conway-Walsh says this is a really bad move by the Government.
