CoreWeave, Inc. (CRWV, Financials) said it reached a new partnership with AI startup Runway to supply cloud infrastructure for the company’s next generation of video-creation models. The agreement gives Runway access to Nvidia’s GB300 NVL72 systems, a high-capacity compute platform designed to handle large-scale generative workloads.
CoreWeave has built its business around offering GPU-dense cloud tools for enterprises developing AI applications. The company said Runway will rely on its infrastructure to train and deploy more advanced video-generation models, a segment that continues to grow as demand for creative automation expands across media and advertising.
The transaction gives CoreWeave another well-known client and puts the firm in a good position to take advantage of the growing interest in cloud services that use GPUs. It also shows how rapidly the generative video area is evolving toward systems that need greater computing power.
As CoreWeave grows its AI cloud footprint, investors will look for further client wins and any news on capacity increase.
