Fears people could be charged up to €50 a month for medicines dispensed in blister packs from January 1 by their pharmacists were alleviated after it emerged the proposal is being paused for now.
Pharmacists said a proposed charge will not come in to effect on January 1 as planned, and instead is being paused until around springtime.
