It may come as no surprise that mind-challenging board games are popular in the Moloney household over the Christmas, as father Paudie and son Andrew sit down to chat about how the TV show has affected their lives and ‘The Paudfather’ prepares for his startling next step on ‘Dancing with the stars’

He infamously declared himself ‘not a hugger’ but right now, the much more important question has to be: Is he a dancer?
“Ah, I have a bit of dancing I suppose,” says Paudie Moloney somewhat noncommittally. “But I’ve never learned how to do perfect steps or anything, that would be completely alien to me. I’ve a bit of rhythm, a bit of musicality, but I never learned to dance.”
