Job security certainly isn’t one of the attractions that comes with football coaching, and yet there’s still an undeniable draw to it for some people – including former Ireland international and freshly retired Wexford stalwart, Rianna Jarrett.

The natural transition pathway from playing within the lines of the pitch to standing on its perimeter is gradually infiltrating into the women’s game more, and while she’s still balancing a full-time day job, the two-time Women’s National League (WNL) player of the season is now dipping her toe into that world.
