The Serralves Foundation in Porto, Portugal, has announced its program for 2026, outlining a year of events, film screenings, architectural presentations, and large-scale public events. The lineup includes exhibitions and site-specific interventions by international artists Jenny Holzer, Lee Ufan, Anri Sala, and Alice Neel, presented across the foundation’s museums and 18-hectare park.

A central highlight will be a major retrospective dedicated to Frank Gehry, bringing together dozens of projects by the late architect. Organized in partnership with Gehry Partners and the Getty Research Institute, the exhibition combines models, drawings, photographs, furniture, and sculptures to explore 26 Gehry projects from the Gehry House in Santa Monica to the Guggenheim Bilbao. The exhibition will run from May through October 2026.
“We want this to be a year of reinforcement for Serralves and for Portugal in the field of architecture, establishing the Foundation as a global center for dialog and education about architecture, design, and landscape architecture within a privileged artistic context,” António Choupina, the Serralves Foundation’s Director of Architecture, said about the exhibition.
