They thanked their community as they prepare for their final day

A beloved Galway florist will shut their doors for the final time at the end of December 2025 as they thanked they community for over three decades of support.
Blathanna, near the Old Gate in Athenry, has been at the heart of the town for 32 years but Nonie and Anne are saying goodbye.
They shared details on their final day and had a heartfelt message for their customers and community.
Blathanna said: “Dear Customers,
“We just want to let you all know that the shop will be closing at the end of December. We are retiring, after 32 years in business.
“Thank you all for your loyalty & support over the years, it was our privilege to have served you all.
“During our time in business we have made many friends, shared many occasions, had many laughs and seen many changes in our town.
“Thank you again, we wish you all a merry Christmas and a healthy new year.
“Nonie & Anne”
