Police are investigating a reported rape at a park in Glasgow.

Officers have cordoned off a wooded area of Queen’s Park following the incident which took place between 12:30 and 01:00 in the early hours of Christmas Eve.

Several officers were still at the scene on Wednesday and Police Scotland said they would remain in the area for several hours more.

A spokesperson said inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
