Calls grow for tougher laws
There were 78 fatal and serious e-scooter injury accidents this year up to the end of November
There has been a significant jump in fatal and serious injuries from accidents involving e-scooters since 2023.
According to new data released by An Garda Síochána, in the 11 months to November 30 there were 78 accidents in comparison to 41 in the same period in 2023.
