Dec. 23 (UPI) — Street artist Banksy has confirmed he’s behind a new mural that appeared this week on a west London wall.

The new Banksy mural, confirmed on his Instagram, shows two children in winter clothes lying on their backs, one pointing skyward.

The artwork appeared above garages on Queen’s Mews in Bayswater, near Notting Hill.

A nearly identical image also surfaced near the Centre Point tower in central London, though Banksy has not claimed that version, Artnet reported.

Some experts, including Banksy specialist Jasper Tordoff, suggest the work’s night sky of possible artificial stars carries Banksy’s signature social satire.

But others view it as commentary on child homelessness.
