Most Tortured Rock Musician of All Time?

BBC Music Magazine recently cited Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac as the most tortured rock musician of all time. It does sound like he struggled quite a bit, but, to my mind, any rock musician who made it to 73 years of age is not the most tortured.
