A new kosher pizza shop has opened in Brooklyn under the name Se’or Pizza, introducing a sourdough-focused slice shop to the Avenue K corridor. The concept centers on naturally fermented sourdough dough used across its pizza and baked menu, offering a different approach from traditional New York kosher pizzerias in the area.

The name “Se’or” references sourdough starter, signaling the shop’s emphasis on fermentation, texture, and dough development. Se’or Pizza is run by the group behind That Sushi Spot, The Canteen, and That Coffee Shop, with the help of the well known non-kosher pizzeria WHEATED, of Brooklyn and Kentucky, Se’or brings that classic NYC slice-shop experience to the Kosher world.
