Walt Disney Animation’s Zootopia 2 has crossed $1.46 billion global, becoming Walt Disney Animation Studios top grossing movie of all-time.

Note, Pixar’s Inside Out 2 remains the top grossing overall animated title for Disney at $1.698 billion, and the top all-time MPA animated feature title at the box office. China’s Ne Zha 2 with $2.15 billion is the top grossing animated movie ever.

Among Walt Disney Animation label movies, Zootopia 2 wound up locking Elsa aka Frozen 2 on ice in the No. 2 spot with $1.45B.

Broken out Zootopia 2 counts $333M domestic, $1.13 billion abroad. The sequel is the fifth Walt Disney Animation Studios film to cross $1 billion around the world. It’s also the eighth MPA title to clock more than $1 billion at the international B.O. after The Lion King ($1.118B). Zootopia 2 is the No. 1 animated MPA title of all-time at the foreign B.O. , and the No. 1 global MPA release currently of 2025, and No. 1 MPA title at the foreign B.O. year-to-date.
