When I was recovering from the darkness of perinatal depression in early 2017, one of the biggest pieces of the puzzle for my mental health was getting out and about in nature with my baby.
Even on those dark, cold, dreary and sometimes endless days of January when I didn’t want to leave the house, I made myself get outdoors. I wrapped my newborn up like the Michelin Man and headed out to a park, or went for a walk along the sea, or got lost in some local woodland.
