Artificial intelligence is set to heavily impact the number of jobs in European banking and finance over the next five years, according to Morgan Stanley.
America’s sixth largest bank says that over 200,000 jobs – around 10pc of Europe’s total banking workforce – are at risk because of adoption of AI technology in back-end and middle-office roles.
