As we bid farewell to 2025, viewers can sit down with presenter Graham Norton and watch The Graham Norton Show on New Year’s Eve on BBC.

Airing on Wednesday December 31, households across Britain can expect a star-studded line up to see in the new year, and re-cap on the best moments of the last.

Last year, Robbie Williams, Rami Malek, Motsi Mabuse and John Bishop joined Graham Norton on the sofa as Robbie detailed his s biopic Better Man, Rami teased what to expect from Hollywood film Oedipus, Motsi recapped on Strictly Come Dancing after Chris McCausland lifted the Glitterball trophy, and John discussed his 2025 tour.

The New Year special comes just as Graham’s hit BBC show was confirmed to have been extended for three more series earlier this year. A spokesperson for the BBC said: “The multi-award-winning chat show remains one of the nation’s favourite television programmes and continues to attract A-list stars and millions of loyal viewers.

“The latest series averaged 2.9m per episode across the run, retaining its status as the biggest chat show in the market. It also continues to generate millions of global video views across YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.”

With the three series deal starting in 2026, Graham shared: “Getting to host my own chat show is a huge pleasure as well as a privilege. I’m thrilled that the BBC are allowing me to continue for another three years. The whole team is looking forward to bringing the world’s brightest stars into the homes of the great British public!”
