Pink is ready for the new year as she sits in the hospital recovering from a procedure.

“I am leaving behind all of my hurt in 2025,” the “So What” singer wrote in a poignant Instagram message. “This year was a doozy for all of us and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying. In amongst all of that, there was so much beauty.”

“And I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body,” she added, accompanied by a photo of herself in a hospital bed wearing a large bandage on her neck.

“It may not be a fancy face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck,” the 46-year-old explained. “A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it’s worth. Rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport. And as I sit here by myself on New Year’s Eve in a hospital room while my family is happily snowboarding- I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made.”

Pink ended her Instagram message on a hopeful note, telling followers to “choose positive thoughts over negative ones.”

“Happy new year and may you experience more joy than sorrow, more sunshine than rain, more love than hatred,” she added, before referencing the animals of the Asian zodiac. “Let’s shed that old snake skin. And find our horsepower.”

Many of Pink’s friends praised her optimistic note in the comments.

“Pink, opening for you was such an inspiration,” wrote singer Sheryl Crow. “Knowing you is inspiring for me. I am going to print out the post and tape it to my fridge! I encourage everyone to!! And happy new year, crazy amazing woman/mama!!”

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell added, “just beautiful – thank u for this,” while Wanda Sykes wrote, “Happy New Year! ❤️ Giddy up!”

Pink is open about her health updates with fans, and previously detailed her “brutal” recovery from hip surgery back in 2021.

“It was a brutal first week full of tears and pain med depression, ulcers from meds and constant fevers, but my @hartluck brought me through,” she said on Instagram, referencing her husband, Carey Hart.

“It is humbling for a very independent person like myself to be rendered physically unable and dependent, even if for a couple of months,” she wrote at the time, adding that she is “learning the gift of accepting help.”

“My journey will be quick and intentional, And I will make a full recovery. For that I am so blessed.”
