A former Love Island winner is on cloud nine after welcoming his first child with his ‘incredible partner.’
Finlay Tapp, who won the show’s first winter series in South Africa in 2020, recently became a dad when his ‘perfect baby boy’ was born.
Sharing snaps of the little one, and revealing the newborn’s name, Finlay said: ‘For nine months, you were an image in our heads.

‘We imagined a world with you in it, and now you’re here. Our hearts have never been fuller. The most perfect baby boy.’
Finlay also praised his partner, saying: ‘Jess, you were incredible. My admiration for you continues to grow each and every day.’

The new mum and dad have picked the name Austin for their son, a strong name which is of Latin origin and means ‘great’ and ‘magnificent.’
Several fellow Love Island stars sent their congratulations to Finlay and Jess, with Shaughna Phillips, who recently also welcomed a baby, said: ‘Congratulations to you both, he is perfect.’
Finlay and Jess revealed they were expecting in May and announced they were going to have a little boy in August at their gender reveal party, where they asked their loved ones to guess the baby’s sex.
They then confirmed they were expecting a boy by sharing a snap with a bouquet of purple and blue blooms.

Finlay and Jess were revealed to be a couple last summer, and it wasn’t until June 2024 that Finlay revealed his love’s name.
It’s now six years since Finlay won Love Island with his ex Paige Turley. They called it quits in 2023, but gave things another go after appearing on Celebrity Ex On The Beach. They split soon after the show.
