Appeals court has lifted previous block on X’s lawsuit against liberal media watchdog ‘Media Matters for America’ alleging it had defamed the social media giant

Elon Musk’s X can pursue a “thermonuclear” defamation case in Ireland against a liberal media watchdog after a US appeals court lifted an order blocking the lawsuit.
The ruling by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit paves the way for X’s Irish subsidiary to reopen its case in its long-running dispute with Media Matters for America. The watchdog has previously accused X of launching a “vendetta-driven campaign of libel tourism”.
