A young father of four who became the country’s first road crash victim of the new year heartbreakingly took to social media to wish his family and friends a “happy and healthy 2026” less than 48 hours before losing his life in a three car collision.
Thirty-six-year-old Francis Kelly died when the car he was driving collided with another car and a van along a stretch of the main N4 on the outskirts of Edgeworthstown, Co Longford on Saturday evening.
