Slieve na Greine, Foxford, formerly of Ballina Road, Foxford and Birmingham, England – peacefully in the care of the staff of the Blackrocks Nursing Home, Foxford.
Peter was predeceased by his father Tom McGowan, his mother Bridget (née Cosgrove), his wife Kathleen McGowan and his siblings Mary, Seamus, Angela, Billy and Tommy.
Peter will be dearly and forever missed by his children Louise, Gemma, James and his grandchildren, his niece Kathryn McGowan and her family William Noone, Aoife, Oisín and Síofra, all his nephews and nieces and extended family, a wide circle of friends in Ireland and abroad and all the wonderfully kind neighbours in Slieve na Greine and all the staff at Blackrocks Nursing Home in Foxford who looked after Peter so well in his final days.

Peter will rest in repose at Clarkes Funeral Home, Foxford on Wednesday evening from 4.45 with removal at 5.45 to St. Michaels Church arriving at 6pm.
Funeral Mass for Peter will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to Craggagh Cemetery.
