Two people lost their lives in workplace incidents in Kerry in 2025.
That’s according to figures from the Health and Safety Authority, which show nationally, there were 58 work-related fatalities last year.
The agriculture sector accounted for almost 40% of deaths nationwide (23), while deaths in the construction industry doubled – to 10.
Meanwhile, 33% (19) of those who lost their lives were aged 65 or over.
