Taylor Dearden as Dr. Mel King – Returning!
Taylor is confirmed to return.
She spoke about her character in season 2, telling The Playlist, “Yeah, it’s ten months later, and what does that mean for Mel? She’s an R3 now, a more senior doctor. I assume she takes on much more responsibility, having people come to her to clear things up and step into a leadership position.”
Shabana Azeez as Javadi – Returning!
Shabana Azeez’s Javadi is coming back as well! The show’s creator R. Scott Gemmill told TV Line about her character in season 2, “Javadi is going to be doing a sub-internship, and we find out that maybe that’s just her stalling because she doesn’t want to make up her mind about where she wants to go.”
