Further, Sreeleela also spoke about playing a Madurai-based girl in Parasakthi. “I am not sure if I manifested it, but from a very young age, I have been very fond of the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. In fact, when I was a child, I even performed Bharatanatyam in the temple premises. So I have always felt a connection with Madurai. I also love parrots and really enjoy the Madurai slang. And of course, the food in Madurai. There is a line in the film that goes, ‘Sapadu naa Madurai la dhaan.’ I had parottas, idlies and dosas, and I especially loved a jackfruit dish, though I am unable to recollect its name.”
