The power couple, married since 2006, called it quits in Nashville court on January 6, 2026, just months after announcing their separation. Their divorce is said to be amicable, with both Nicole and Keith waiving alimony and child support claims, and paying their own legal fees.A clean split, but kids come firstAccording to PEOPLE magazine, Nicole filed for divorce on September 30, 2025, citing “irreconcilable differences” with Keith Urban. However, what caught people’s attention was their parenting plans amidst divorce. As per reports, despite their differences, Nicole and Keith prioritised their teen daughters, Sunday Rose (17) and Faith Margaret (15). Their divorce agreement mandates both parents “behave… to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.” And so, there’s no badmouthing, no family drama – just encouragement for their girls to love both parents freely.As per their arrangement post-divorce, their daughters will primarily live with Nicole, while Keith gets 59 days – including every other weekend – to spend with them.
