The old Brady’s Bar & Lounge in The Faythe failed to sell at public auction.
The level of anticipated interest failed to materialise as a former landmark Wexford pub went under the hammer in recent weeks.
It’s been a long time since Brady’s of the Faythe was serving customers, with more than a decade having passed since it was occupied. At one stage, the building was entered onto Wexford County Council’s derelict sites register, with notice sent to the owners, Faythe Taverns Ltd, to carry out vital structural works and tidy things up or face levies.
