Very Rev Fr Phil Brady passed away Tuesday, 6th January 2026, peacefully.

Late Priest of the Diocese of Kilmore.

Predeceased by his Parents, Patrick and Roseanne Brady, Infant Sister, Teresa, Sisters, Margaret Mollahan and Rosie Galligan, Brother Ned, Aunt Molly, Brother in Law Michael Tully and Nephew James Tully.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his Sister, Maryann Tully and Brothers, John (Pat), Paddy (Lily), Monsignor James Brady and Hughie (Maggie), Brothers in Law Phil Galligan and John
Mollahan and Sister in Law Kathleen Brady, Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces, Grand Nephews, Great Grand Nieces and Great Grand Nephews, Bishop Martin Hayes, Bishop Emeritus Leo O’Reilly, Brother Priests, Former Parishioners and his many good Friends.

Reposing at the home of his nephew Padraig Brady Legwee bridge, Bruskey, (H12XE97) on Thursday 8th January from 5pm to 8pm for family, neighbours and close friends. Reposing in St. Mary’s Church, Bruskey, Cavan (H12XO67) on Friday 9th January from 6pm to 9pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday 10th January in St. Mary’s Church Bruskey at 12 noon, with interment afterwards in the church grounds.
