SIPTU vows to protect as many jobs as possible at Kostal Abbeyfeale

SIPTU is vowing to protect as many jobs as possible at an electronics factory in West Limerick.

Management at Kostal in Abbeyfeale confirmed that the manufacturing of On-Board Chargers (OBCs) for electric vehicles will move to China.

The German-headquartered company has committed to informing staff of the number of compulsory redundancies early next month (February).
