Sutton Stracke is now responding to the “rumors” that Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky could be getting back together. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member had been outspoken about Kyle’s separation from the real estate agent, and is now lending her thoughts on their alleged reconciliation.

Sutton appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, Jan. 8, where she shared her thoughts on the “rumors,” after Kyle and Mauricio were seen attending the same New Year’s Eve party in Aspen. “I’m just learning about all of these,” Sutton explained during the WWHL After Show, as seen in the video above.
“I said earlier that I think that, you know, they love each other,” she continued. “They’re family. So I don’t know, I haven’t talked to Kyle since New Year’s, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on. Who knows if it’s taken out of context, I don’t know.”
The Valley: Persian Style cast member, Mercedeh Javid, who works for Mauricio at The Agency, was also on WWHL on Thursday, where she added her commentary on the situation. “I think that they’re rekindling,” Mercedeh said. “That’s just my opinion.”

Kyle and Mauricio spent the 2025 holiday season in Aspen with their four daughters. The estranged couple, who separated in 2023, were seen on social media helping their daughters assemble Christmas presents and even shared a bowl of popcorn with each other while watching a movie together with the kids.
Earlier this month, both Kyle and Mauricio took to their Instagram Stories, where they showed off scenes from inside Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party. Kyle snapped photos of her hanging out with RHOBH cast member, Rachel Zoe. She also took a picture of her daughter, Sophia Umansky, hanging out with Bella Hadid. Mauricio also snapped a photo at the party, hanging out with a friend.

Sutton had previously shared her thoughts on Kyle and Mauricio’s separation during RHOBH Season 14 and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show from that season. During the RHOBH After Show, Sutton revealed that her own divorce was why she was so passionate when speaking to Kyle.

“I got a bit bamboozled with my ex-husband,” Sutton explained. “So I just want to impart my wisdom to my friend, who I’m seeing go through this very strange separation, in my eyes. And I want to tell her, ‘Look, just file.’ I want her to do it first before he does it to her…And it looks to me like Mauricio has moved on.”
