Police say four people have been charged after the discovery of a so-called “cannabis factory” in the Waterside area of Derry earlier this week.

Three men aged 37, 39 and 60, and a 52-year-old woman, will appear in court today in relation to the discovery during a planned Police search.

They have been harged with possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, cultivating cannabis, and being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug.

As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
