Antoine Frisch is on the way to meet his surgeon, as his unique French, Irish and English-infused accent greets us down the phone.
Instead of preparing for the one game that he had circled in his calendar as soon as the Champions Cup draw was made last summer, Frisch is currently sidelined due to a troublesome foot injury that has dogged him ever since he left Munster for Toulon a year and a half ago.
