MGM+ has dropped a new trailer for Vanished, starring Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin, its forthcoming four-epsiode mystery thriller series ahead of its Feb. 1 premiere.

Per the synopsis, “Alice Monroe’s (Cuoco) romantic French vacation becomes a dangerous mystery when boyfriend Tom Parker (Claflin) vanishes from a train to Arles, forcing her to uncover hidden truths about his past. During a desperate search for Tom, Alice is plunged into a web of intrigue and danger, uncovering shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew.

The trailer begins with Alice telling Tom, “I love that we get to meet up in hotels all over the world, but I want to build a life.” Before she falls asleep on the trailer, Tom reassures her that he loves her. But when she wakes up, he’s nowhere to be found.

Her search for him takes her on a dangerous journey, as she begs for help from police and others to help find him.

She eventually meets a woman (Karin Viard) who reveals that she has been investigating Tom, and it’s then when she begins to learn about his secret life.

“You don’t even know Tom,” Alice tells the woman, who replies, “Do you?”

Matthias Schweighöfer, Simon Abkarian and Dar Zuzovsky also star. Additional cast includes Matthias Schweighöfer (Oppenheimer, Army of the Dead), Simon Abkarian (Casino Royale, To Take a Wife) and Dar Zuzovsky (The Saints, The Survivor).

Vanished is created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, who serves as writer. Barnaby Thompson directs. James Clayton, David Kosse, Barnaby Thompson, Preston Thompson, Kaley Cuoco and AGC’s Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz and Miguel A. Palos Jr. executive produce.

Vanished premieres Sunday, February 1 in the U.S., Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Latin America with a weekly release. Additionally, all four episodes of Vanished will premiere Friday, February 27 on Prime Video in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
