The starry casts of One Battle After Another, Sinners and other standout films were in attendance at the National Board of Review Awards’ annual gala tonight, held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City and hosted by NBC’s Willie Geist.
Coming off of major wins at the Golden Globes Sunday, OBAA was feted as 2025’s best film by the organization, with performers Leonardo DiCaprio, Benicio del Toro and Chase Infiniti walking the carpet. Also in attendance were Sinners filmmaker Ryan Coogler and stars Michael B. Jordan, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku and Delroy Lindo.
Also present were the creatives and stars behind If I Had Legs I’d Kick You (star Rose Byrne, filmmaker Mary Bronstein), Train Dreams (star Joel Edgerton, director Clint Bentley, writer Greg Kwedar), Sentimental Value (stars Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Stellan Skarsgard) and the forthcoming The Bride! (director Maggie Gyllenhaal, star Peter Sarsgaard). Sorry, Baby‘s Eva Victor, It Was Just an Accident helmer Jafar Panahi and WBD CEO Pam Abdy also attended.
Founded in 1909, the NBR comprises film enthusiasts, filmmakers, professionals and academics who view, engage with and later select the best works of each year.
