Carrie Bradshaw and Mr Big’s romance is one for the ages that will live on in TV forever, but actors SJP and Chris Noth’s real-life relationship appears to have turned frosty.
The Sex and the City co-stars were on good terms in November 2021 when the first season of …And Just Like That wrapped filming, with Chris penning a sweet message to SJP, but things soured when he became embroiled in scandal, and his SATC co-stars broke their silence on the allegations made against him.
Now, Chris seems to have pushed a dark cloud over Sarah Jessica’s momentous day, after she was honoured with the Carol Burnett Award ahead of the Golden Globes.

Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York in the TV series, gave a tribute to SJP before she received the award, which is in recognition of ‘outstanding contributions to television on or off the screen’.
When an emotional Sarah Jessica got up on stage to say a few words, she gushed over working with the ‘most glorious ensemble of women and actors’ on SATC, even referring to her estranged co-star Kim Cattrall.

Chris, who played Mr Big opposite SJP’s Carrie, appeared unimpressed by his former co-star’s big win. The 71-year-old shared a photo of himself in the gym, which he captioned: ‘F&@k New Years – LET’S GO!’
When one of his followers responded: ‘You mean f**k Sarah Jessica Parker and her award, right? Lol,’ Chris vaguely replied: ‘Right.’
While ‘right’ could be interpreted in a multitude of ways, SATC fans are frenzied over Chris’ left-of-field dig at SJP.

One Instagram user penned: ‘I need the tea,’ as another questioned: ‘What? Did I miss something?’
It’s not publicly known whether something went down between Chris and SJP, but in 2021, when he was hit with claims of sexual assaults in separate incidents, Chris is reported to have been ‘cut’ from the final episode of …AJLT season one.

No charges were ever brought, and Chris has vehemently denied the claims as ‘categorically false’, but he hasn’t starred in a movie or TV series since.
Furthermore, at the time of the allegations, SJP, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon banded together to release a statement, in which they said: ‘We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth.’

‘We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do, and we commend them for it.’
