Audacy is bringing one of Chicago sports radio’s most recognizable brands to the FM dial. Beginning February 2, 670 The Score will launch an FM simulcast at 104.3 FM. This marks the first time the station’s full lineup of sports talk, analysis, and live play-by-play will be heard on FM in the Chicago market.
The station will continue to air on 670 AM, giving listeners multiple ways to access the content.
The move expands the reach of a heritage sports outlet that has long been a fixture for Chicago fans. With improved audio quality and broader accessibility, the FM signal positions The Score to reach new listeners while maintaining its core audience.
“Chicago fans are the best in the world, and they deserve coverage that matches their passion,” Audacy Chicago Senior Vice President and Market Manager Kevin Cassidy said in a statement. “Our roster features the best talent in the city with unmatched dedication to delivering the latest sports news and insight. We’re excited to expand The Score’s reach through this FM simulcast, bringing our premier sports content to an even wider audience so they can join the conversation and stay connected to their favorite Chicago teams.”
The station will debut on FM with its established weekday lineup intact.
Morning drive will continue to be anchored by Mully & Haugh from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. CT, followed by Rahimi, Harris & Grote from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT. Afternoons will be led by Spiegel & Holmes, airing from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT.
In addition to talk programming, 104.3 The Score will carry flagship play-by-play coverage of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls beginning in 2026. The expanded distribution is expected to enhance the station’s presence during marquee live events. It will also give fans another option to follow their teams.
The FM launch will be presented by Circa Sports Illinois, continuing Audacy’s strategy of aligning high-profile station initiatives with sports betting partners in legalized markets.
Listeners will be able to hear 104.3 The Score over the air throughout Chicago, as well as nationwide through the Audacy app and Audacy.com. The station will also maintain its digital footprint across social media platforms including X, Facebook, and Instagram.
The addition of 104.3 FM further strengthens Audacy’s sports portfolio. The company now operates 20 FM sports stations and 40 owned-and-operated sports outlets overall. It also runs 160 sports streaming channels on the Audacy app. Audacy manages a sports podcast network with more than 600 titles. It also serves as the flagship audio home for over 50 professional and collegiate teams.
