A lot of new celebrity couples emerged out of 2025, but one of the most beloved? That’s gotta be Nicolandria. Though they didn’t end up winning Love Island USA season 7, Olandria and Nic (who you may know by their fan-created portmanteau) definitely won viewers’ hearts—and they’ve been trying not to let the massive pressure from their fan base get to them ever since. But following several solo outings and few public joint appearances, that fan base is dying to know: Are Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe still together?
On the Golden Globes 2026 red carpet, Olandria addressed split rumors during an interview with the New York Post (which you can view in full right this way). When asked about her relationship with Nic, Olandria said that, while they were “into the whole Nicolandria relationship thing at first,” they’ve since “decided to prioritize our own solo careers first” and “own identities” outside of Nicolandria.
She continued, “I really feel like that’s why we’re so successful. We continue to prioritize our solo careers, as well as our relationship.” Fair enough!

Nic disputed breakup rumors himself back in December during a conversation with Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West (yes, really). When Nic visited Kim during a Christmas-themed photo shoot, she arranged a quick call with her daughter, explaining that she’s a big Love Island USA fan.
And not long after getting on the call, North—icon that she is—straight-up asked Nic, “Did you break up with Olandria?”
His response? “No, I didn’t—Nicolandria 4L.”
As a reminder: Nic and Olandria are one of two remaining couples from the latest Love Island USA season. As of January 2026, fellow Islanders Clarke Carraway and Taylor Williams are also still going strong, while season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales have since called it quits, as have Chelly Bissainthe and Ace Greene and Iris Kendall and Jose “Pepe” Garcia-Gonzalez.
Oh, and in a surprise twist, Iris ended up getting together with TJ Palma.
Anywho! Here’s hoping Nicolandria is, indeed, 4L.
