15 JANUARY 2026 – Tokyo, Japan – Following its appearance during the Toge Productions anniversary online showcase, the team confirmed that Coffee Talk Tokyo will now launch globally on Thursday, May 21, 2026, for Steam PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

While the core of the game is complete and development is in its final stretch, the team decided to take additional time to focus on final polish and refinement. This includes improving the overall feel, comfort, smoothness, and the final details that allow the story and characters to shine at their best from day one.

“We truly understand that waiting longer can be disappointing,” the team shared. “However, our priority is to deliver the best possible experience from the very first moment players step back into the café. This additional time allows us to ensure Coffee Talk Tokyo feels warm, complete, and worthy of the world so many players love.”

 

Coffee Talk Tokyo invites players back into the universe of Coffee Talk with a new city, a new cast of characters, and new stories to share, while preserving the emotional heart and cozy atmosphere that defined the series.

The team also confirmed that this is the final release date, and they look forward to welcoming players back to the café this May.

About the Game

Set in a late-night café in Tokyo, Coffee Talk Tokyo invites players to step into the role of the barista, brewing drinks that warm the hearts of humans and fantastical beings alike. Each cup influences the tone of every conversation, revealing the stories, dreams, and struggles of a completely new cast of characters.

Players can experiment with both hot and cold drinks, enhance their latte art with sprinkle stencils, and explore Tomodachill, an in-game social feed that unlocks hidden insights into their customers’ lives.

The experience is wrapped in a chill lo-fi soundtrack by Andrew “AJ” Jeremy, returning composer from Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2, blending calm jazz and soft beats inspired by Tokyo’s summer nights.
