Late two-pointers from Pat Spillane and Lee Deignan enabled Sligo rescue victory from the jaws of defeat and claim FBD Shield honours at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
A strong final-quarter performance by Roscommon, helped by substitute Darragh Heneghan’s 50th-minute goal with his first touch, looked to have handed the Rossies victory.
