Gardai have launched an urgent appeal asking for the public’s help finding a girl missing in Kerry.
Kalinda Durand, aged 13, was reported missing from her home in Killarney today.
She is described as being 4’8″ tall, of slim build, with long black hair and brown eyes.
When last seen, she was wearing blue jeans and white top.
Both gardai and Kalinda’s family say they are “deeply concerned for her welfare”.
A Garda spokesperson said tonight: “Gardai are appealing for the public’s help in locating Kalinda Durand, a 13-year-old who has been reported missing from her home in Killarney, Co. Kerry, since Saturday, 17 January 2026.
“Kalinda is described as being over 4 feet 8 inches tall, of slim build, with long black hair and brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing blue jeans and white top.
“Both Gardaí and Kalinda’s family are deeply concerned for her welfare.”
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064 667 1160, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
