Sarah Twigg Doyle first got interested in interiors when she had to decorate her new home on a very strict budget which she did with the help of her recycling-obsessed father-in-law. Now she has a thriving business as an interior stylist and a delightful home in Bray, Co Wicklow

This time six years ago in January 2020, few of us knew what the acronym WFH stood for; now it’s part of everyday conversation because it’s still what many of us are doing, at least part-time – working from home.
It’s probably fair to say that tonnes of us have still not adapted our homes to this relatively recent phenomenon and just grab our laptops, screens and a chair, and plonk them in a quiet corner of our bedroom. Our challenge is that few of us have the luxury of a dedicated space – most home offices also double as space for something else, so it has to work twice as hard.
